教材内容分析

This unit is the sixth unit in the first volume of Grade 4 “It’s on your head”. This unit studies the use of prepositions around the topic of dress. The natural situational dialogue between father and daughter enables students to learn the preposition "in" and" on", and the core language “Where is my football? It’s in the box” in the familiar context. This unit provides multiple vocabulary words about dress for students to do replacement exercises after learning the core vocabulary. At the same time, teachers should guide students to pay attention to the pronunciation of letters, for example: Mm and Nn. This module consists of three class hours.

 

单元教学目标

Knowledge objectives:

1.Students can understand and use the basic forms of communicative functions such as asking questions and answering the placement of items.

2.Students have ability to understand, recognize and use the core language in real life:Where’s my football? It’s in the box.

3.Students are able to listen, speak, read, write and use hat,T-shirt,dress,in the box....

4.Students can understand and learn the correct pronunciation of letters Mm and Nn in words and can distinguish the difference between them accurately .

Ability objectives:

1.Students are able to read the small dialogues and stories of this unit emotionally with the help of pictures and reading strategies.

2.Students are able to write, read the core vocabulary of this lesson, and use what you have learned to complete the dialogue.

3.Students are able to follow the recording and imitate the song Where Is My Hat? 

Emotion objectives:

1.Students can use the language they have learned actively to communicate in the real life.

2.Students are able to work with partners to complete group activities and games, and have confidence to express their views in the activities

3.Students can establish a simple and generous aesthetic, and develop a good habit of sorting out items timely.
