教材内容分析

This unit is unit 6 of the first volume of grade 9 in the textbooks of PEP edition,introducing some common inventions in our daily lives by using the Passive voice in past tense to talk about the history of the inventions and their uses.At the same time,let students understand the impact of inventions on our lives,and cultivate their innovation.Besides,the topic is close to students’ lives,and the materials come from their personal lives and study,which will make them desirable to express their ideas and also improve their interests in English learning and learning efficiency.The Passive voice in past tense is the key language point of this unit.Students can talk about inventions by using key words,phrases and target language.I prepare three periods for this unit.

Knowledge objectives:

Students can talk about the history of inventions.

Students can use the passive voice in the past tense correctly.

Students can use the curriculum words,useful expressions and non-curriculum words.

Students can learn about the basketball from invention,development and history ,and cultivate their innovation.
