教材内容分析

This unit is from the nine-year compulsory curriculum standard experimental textbook Go For It, the volume of the ninth grade. This unit further talks about the use of the passive voice of the past tense. It takes inventions as the topic, leading students to trail the history of the invention of telephone, car, zipper, tea and basketball by listening, speaking, reading, writing activities. Through the study of this unit, students can master the history of the invention of different subjects and the usage of the passive voice with the general past tense in special. This unit can also help students develop rich imagination. The whole unit can be divided into five periods.

 

单元教学目标

Knowledge objectives:

1.Students can master some new words and sentence patterns.

2.Students can know passive voice of different tenses.

3.Students can understand the main idea of the article.

4.Students can use the passive voice to write a composition about invention. 

 

Ability objectives: 

1.Students can use words and phrases correctly in life.

2.Students can improve their spoken English and the ability of communication.

3.Students can improve their reading and writing ability.

4.Students can use the passive voice correctly.

 

Emotion objectives:

1.Students can actively cooperate with others and cultivate the spirit of cooperation, and learn more about the history and the use of tea. 

2.Students can create opportunities to invent some daily necessities.

Students can develop their interest in creating and inventing.
