教材内容分析

This unit is the 7th unit in the first volume of Grade 7 -Go for it. It mainly talks about shopping. In Section A, students are supposed to master some words about clothing, color, shape and price, use the structure “How much...?” to ask the price of clothes. This part also presents some nouns in the plural, such as“socks, shorts, shoes, trousers”, students need a lot of listening and speaking practice to understand and use the plural nouns. 

Section B introduces more cardinal numbers and expands some useful expressions between clerks and customers. Besides, this section provides some reading activities and writing activities. All the material is about advertisement for clothes store.

The topic in this unit is familiar to the students. It’s easy to stimulate students’ interest in learning.
