教材内容分析

This unit is the fourth unit of English compulsory one in Senior High School. The whole unit focuses on the theme of friendship. One of the skills that students need to master in this unit is the presenting skills. Students can have a self-perception of friendship, and can cite examples to prove their point of view. In the introduction part, the poem is quoted in order to reinforce the theme of this unit and improve the students’ phonetic ability. In the pre-reading activities, the purpose of doing a survey is that the teacher can understand the students’ way of making friends, and the students will have a discussion on the current ways of making friends. At the same time, the teacher can draw a conclusion and introduce the topic of the article. The article takes making friends online as a topic, and reminds students to learn to judge the true friendship. Through reading materials, students can discuss the merits and demerits of making friends online, and express their opinions. In the grammar part, through the revision and expansion of attributive clauses, students can simplify their language expression and make it simpler and clearer. In addition, the usage of relative pronouns is also the emphasis of grammar chapters. Students can use attributive clause skillfully in daily communication. In the listening part, Students can master the skills of listening and find out some solutions to solve problems between friends according to the listening dialogue. The last section is a continuation of the story, which tests the students’ mastery of the knowledge they have learned and the ability of their imagination and language organization.

1.Students can recognize the advantages and disadvantages of making friends online, and reflect on the interpersonal relationship on the internet.

Students can have a neutral attitude towards the internet culture and can distinguish right from wrong.
