教材内容分析

The teaching material is from module 4 “It’s red!” for Grade Three, published by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. This unit is the fourth unit for grade three,  talking about color. It’s important for students because it’s the beginning of learning color words. Teacher designs three periods for teaching: vocabulary, reading and grammar.   Words(blue, yellow, red, black, green, panda, chameleon), text reading and sentence pattern “It is a + color + noun" are the focus of mathematics. Teaching words and the sentences(It is a +color+noun) are the difficult points. Teacher uses some cards and pictures with color to show the words and sentence pattern in pronunciation and spelling, which can activate student’s enthusiasm. Through the study of this unit, students can skillfully use the words they have learned, understand the content of the article in this lesson, and learn to use the new sentence patterns.
