Abstract:Internet is a platform for information transmission and sharing. With the development of information technology, network technology plays an increasingly important role in people's lives. This paper mainly analyzes the influence of network on high school English teaching from three aspects: listening, speaking and reading. Based on the network environment, the teaching mode of English listening course should focus on the cultivation of students' learning strategies, students' ability to select suitable materials according to their own level and improve their ability to search, integrate and exchange information. The influence of the Internet on English reading is mainly manifested in three aspects: the authenticity of the situation, the enhancement of reading interest and the diversification of the content. Therefore, the teaching of English reading based on the Internet is more practical. The development of Internet has created an ideal and real communicative environment for high school students in English teaching, which can use its own characteristics to overcome the shortcomings of traditional teaching and show students a colorful world of knowledge so that students can learn happily and more effectively.
