Abstract: Dialogue theory thinks the essence of English teaching is the dialogue between teachers and students. Dialogue teaching tells us that the ultimate aim of teaching is to form a new meaning in the process of continuous convergence. The real dialogue teaching is an activity that the students get along with teachers to obtain knowledge, develop intellect, form personality by social dialogue under the demotic relationship. Through classroom observation and case studies, this paper analyzes the goal, technique and method of dialogue teaching in English classroom of primary school in order to explore the new significance and better implementation of dialogue teaching in English classes.
