Abstract: Interactive teaching approach is widely used in foreign language teaching in Western world, which aims at realizing the transformation from the traditional teacher-centered teaching method to the modern student-centered method. It advocates that students should be given more choices to take part in the classroom instruction. Through interactive teaching, the competence of students can be improved in an all-round way and the teacher’s teaching goals can be achieved efficiently. Through classroom observation, the author analyses the teacher-students interaction and students-students interaction in English teaching of junior middle school and puts forward some suggestions. In teacher-students interaction, teacher should make students prepare for class and courage students to be active. In students-students interaction, teacher should be careful for principle of partitioning a team, forms of team partion and steps of operation.
