Abstract: Along with the development of the reform and opening up to the outside world, the communication between China and Britain is expanding broadly and widely and cross-cultural communication has gradually become an indispensable element in our daily life so that daily manners play an important role in people’s life. Based on the Iceberg Theory, the paper aims to analyze the differences in daily behavior manners between China and Britain to expound the cultural factors that cause these differences,which shall be eventually applied to daily cross-cultural communication so as to avoid misunderstanding and inappropriate behavior. It is intended to promote cultural exchanges between China and Britain, establish and maintain a good relationship. Key words: daily manners; differences; influence
