摘要：阅读是语言教学中的重要组成部分，随着认知心理学、语言学等学科的发展，西方语言学家提出了一些颇有价值的阅读理论，其中就包括图式理论。本文从图式理论的本身及其相关理论的内容方面，分析并阐述图式理论知识在中学英语阅读课堂教学中的意义，以及如何帮助学生提高阅读理解能力和语言综合运用能力。
