摘要：兴趣对于学生学好外语非常重要。如何有效地激发中学生的英语学习兴趣是中学英语教学的重要任务之一。中学生天生好奇爱玩，尤其喜欢玩游戏。本文基于中学生的生理和心理特点，探讨如何正确运用游戏教学，激发学生对英语学习的兴趣，调动学生的积极性，使学生在活跃而有趣的教学氛围中学习英语。本文第一部分简介英语课堂游戏教学;第二部分对国内外中学运用游戏教学的研究进行了文献综述; 第三部分阐述了游戏在中学英语教学中应用的原则; 第四章介绍了游戏在中学英语教学中应用的方法; 最后总结了全文。
