Abstract
In the process of primary students’ English teaching, the teachers’ fundamental mission is to cultivate children's interest in English learning, building up the students’ confidence of English learning. For primary school, it has an important role on fostering English listening of the students, including reading ability, writing ability and speaking ability. In these abilities, the most important two are listening ability and speaking ability. In addition to build up a good English learning class atmosphere, the teacher should take the cultivation of children's English ability into account with a deeper degree when the class ended. In this essay, it analyzes the current problems in English teaching and introduces some efficient ways to improve speaking and listening ability and combine with proper teaching principles, holding some interesting teaching activities. And this paper talks about the way of improving the students’ abilities of listening and speaking, then this paper introduces the link of the listening and speaking. The final goal is to foster students’ abilities of listening and speaking reasonably and effectively.
