Abstract
Spoken English is the language form of oral communication which is widely used by people in English speaking countries. However, in China, the phenomenon of “dumb English” is more and more common. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of the state and society for the cultivation of English talents, more and more attention has been paid to the teaching of spoken English in China and abroad. This dissertation is based on the studies of oral English Teaching, to take Haimen Experimental Primary School as an example of the survey research, meanwhile, to analyze and interpret of the status of oral English Teaching in primary school, , laying the foundation for improving students oral English ability.
