Abstract
This thesis is a study on basic principle of translation in business letter derived from the circumstance of developing global economy and culture. The translation in business letter is a language transformation requiring translators not only to comply with other text translation standards, but also lay emphasis on principles of “7C”, Politeness and Functional Equivalence Theory. The author tries to simply analyze the translation in business letter from aspects on the effect, text characteristics and translation principles and find out the better way to translate letters of every stage in business procedures.
