Abstract
At this stage,in order to meet the demands of the popularization of higher education in our country and the development of local economy, part of the colleges whose school conditions are good are upgraded through a variety of ways. In recent years, with the deepening of economic globalization and internationalization of education, college education has gradually been pushed to be more international. In order to improve the oral English teaching, the school should be the introduction of outstanding foreign teachers.30 English major students of Shandong Youth College of political were investigated and five foreign teachers were interviewed for five aspects of teachers basic information, teaching characteristics, teaching qualification, student performance and teaching evaluation.The use of research ways are: questionnaires, interviews and literature collection. The research results show that: the advantages of foreign teachers are displayed with their diverse teaching methods, lively teaching atmosphere, cultural and linguistic advantages, that’s why they are recognized and welcomed by students. The problem is not to understand the characteristics of Chinese students, the management of foreign teachers is not scientific system, the lack of teaching quality of foreign teachers, teaching evaluation criteria is not widely recognized, teaching content is not prominent. Student factors that affect the effectiveness of the classroom are the students' lack of initiative and self management ability. In this regard, the solutions and suggestions are put forward: the scientific and reasonable teaching content should be set according to the needs of students; Establish a strict education mechanism, the student should also let the teacher know more about ourselves, to learn to control yourself.
