Abstract
Abundant achievements have been made in Chinese education in recent years and domestic higher education has also been in the process of continuous beneficial exploration in many aspects, among which evaluation reform constitutes an important sector. With the light of what has been obtained in educational evaluation at home and abroad, there is spacious room for academic evaluation criteria for its perfection. It is significant to introduce subject and content diversification criteria for academic evaluation in English-major language courses to improve students’ comprehensive ability. Meanwhile, in order to strengthen course evaluation development, it bears great necessity for students' academic evaluation system to program and reform further scientifically.
