Abstract

 

Mobile learning refers to the use of wireless mobile network technology and wireless mobile communication equipment to obtain educational resources and educational services, a new form of learning. In recent years, based on the "Internet +" background, the Government encourages Internet companies and social education institutions, in accordance with market demand for the development of digital education resources, to provide network education services. The rapid development of the Internet had motivated a higher level of learning needs. The mobile terminals that can be used anytime, anywhere to learn the new knowledge, has become the common phenomenon.

    Therefore, this article focuses on the investigation on how English major students make use of mobile learning. By analyzing its characteristics, this paper aims to provide effective educational advice and  some specific measures to develop students' comprehensive English application ability.
