Abstract

 

Language is a tool for people to communicate with others.The purpose of language teaching is not only to cultivate students' writing and reading ability, but also to strengthen the training of students' listening and speaking ability. However, the majority of college students in China will only be able to do a good job in English learning can not be used as a kind of ability to listen to life. In view of this, with the development of science and technology, "Internet plus" era has come, the emergence of different kinds of new social networking sites and software provides a new chance to help the students to learn English listening. English listening learning is no longer confined to books and tapes. This study intends to combine the feature of "Internet plus" era, exploring the Internet resources and the use of electronic listening material resources which based on software in English listening learning, learning effect and other advantages. It is likely to have positive significance in terms of cultivating students' listening skills and cross-cultural communication ability and self-learning ability of the use of network resources.
