Abstract
Traditional Chinese Medicine is forever a splendid pearl of Chinese nation as the great cultural heritage. It also belongs to all mankind as valuable resources. With accelerating development process of China's reform and opening up, China are increasingly close with other countries, which has aroused the attention of the whole world. WHO also spares no effort to promote traditional Chinese medicine in the world. In the situation, the translation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is becoming more and more important. How to convey TCM terminology accurately and to let scholars understand them exactly has become an important task in translation and cultural communities. There are frictions between Chinese and English and there is considerable difference between Medical Ancient Chinese Prose and modern English. The thesis will discuss English translation of traditional Chinese medicine based on previous remarkable achievements, try to analyze the translation principles, norms and ways from the culture perspective, and solve the translation difficulties based on the culture turn.
