Abstract

The bringing forward of the concept of career education in the United States satisfies the development of its society to some extent. With the progress of the society and economy, our society is ever more depend on academic degree. Meanwhile the employment pressure is growing, so we should attach great importance to develop career education. Learning to learn and lifelong learning are the manifestation of the continuation of career education. The promotion of life planning and happy life are also a reflection of the role of career education in promoting personal development. This thesis is based on Ginsberg’s career development theory in the tentative stage and the realistic stage. And the thesis adopted literature reading methods is to answer the three following researches: First, to make a brief comparison of career education both in the domestic and overseas; second, to analyze the necessity of career education in Senior high school; third, on the condition of the curriculum reform and the English reform in the college entrance examination, to explore how to integrate career education with English teaching in senior high school to help students to make career planning.
