Abstract
OBE theory focuses on students’ learning outcomes and application ability, which is consistent with the requirements of the new curriculum standard. Therefore, this thesis attempts to apply OBE theory to innovate the construction of English classroom teaching mode in senior high school. This thesis first analyzes the definition and principles of OBE, and then list the procedures of OBE teaching. And the thesis mainly discusses the application of OBE from aspects of teaching aims,teaching activities, teaching assessments and application activities in senior high school English teaching mode. Results show that the application of OBE in the construction of high school English classroom teaching mode is beneficial to the development of English teaching and stimulate students' interest in learning and activities, improving students’ English achievement and comprehensive language application ability.
