Abstract
This thesis aims at exploring the feasibility of applying cooperative learning in junior English class. Now, people pay attention to cooperation. For a long time, traditional teaching model is not conducive to the development of students’ cooperative awareness. In the course of the new curriculum reform, changing the learning style has become the focus of people. In this context, we introduce “cooperative learning” into our English class, and carry out a multi-angle exploration. The study first describes the background, importance and purpose of cooperative learning. Then it generalizes the concept, elements and previous study. Finally present some strategies of the cooperative learning. Thus we can get a conclusion that it is feasible to carry out the cooperative learning in English teaching class.
