Abstract：The concept of language contact is familiar to many people who study in literature. Because of the influence of language contact, English has many foreign words, and there are quite a lot from Chinese. Using these Chinese loan words can help us express the meaning which can not be expressed accurately in English. And these loan words also influence the culture and economy in the English countries.

　　　This paper introduces the Chinese loan words’ origin and history in the English language. It also lets us know the types of Chinese loan words and its influence on the English language. Finally, it draws the developing trends and its influence of the Chinese loan words on the English language in the English society.   

　　　To study Chinese loan words on the English language is a hot topic of domestic and foreign language exploration. There are also a lot related research achievements. But the study area is too large and not very comprehensive. So it is valuable for us to study this topic. Through this study, we can know more about the influence and developing trends of Chinese loan words on the English language.

中文摘要：语言接触的概念是很多人文学研究者所熟悉的。在语言接触的影响下,英语中有许多词语都是来自其他国家的,其中有许多来自于中国。使用外来词,它能更好地帮助人们表达那些用英语表达不准确的东西。而这些汉语外来词也影响着英语国家中的文化和经济。

　　　本文首先介绍了在英语中汉语外来语的来源和历史。同时，文章也让我们了解到英语中汉语外来语的种类及其对英语语言的影响。最后,文章对英语中汉语外来词的未来发展趋势作出研究，同时分析其对英语国家的社会影响。

　　　在国内和外国语言的探索，英语中汉语外来词的研究是一个十分热门的话题，还有很多相关的研究成果。但是由于研究区域过大,不够全面，所以英语中汉语外来词还有很多地方值得我们去研究。通过这个研究，我们可以更好地了解英语中汉语外来词的影响和发展趋势。
