教材内容分析

This unit is the third unit in the first volume of Grade 7 Go for it. The topic of this unit is “school things”and the language goal is “identify ownership”.The things are mainly for students’ study in the classroom.Students can correctly use general questions with demonstrative pronouns to identify ownership.Because the topic of this unit is closely related to students’ life,the teacher can use the object demonstration method to teach.Therefore,the enthusiasm and the learning efficiency of students can be improved.The unit consists of three parts,including Section A,Section B and Self-check.Section A is mainly to make students master some words about school things and the basic sentence pattern of identifying ownership.The grammar focus on the usage of possessive pronouns.Section B introduce more words about school things.It is mainly to make students learn to write lost and found notices.Self-check mainly test the words,sentence pattern and grammar learned in this unit. Through this unit,students can learn to ask the owner of the item and write lost and found notices.And they can get into the habit of taking care of their own things.

1.Students can master some new words about school things and the basic sentence            

pattern of identifying ownership.

2.Students can grasp the usage of adjective possessive pronoun and nominal   

possessive pronoun.

3.Students can understand the differences among “this,that,these and those”.

Ability objectives:

1.Students can make conversations with their partner correctly using the new words and the basic sentence pattern of identifying ownership and their speaking ability can be improved.

2.Students can practice their listening skills by listening to the tape and doing the listening exercises.

3.Students can learn to write lost and found notices correctly. 

Emotional objectives:

1.Students can get into the habit of taking care of their own things.

2.Students can become confidence to speak English with others in class.
