教材内容分析

This unit is the fourth unit in the first volume of Grade 8 of Go for it. This unit mainly focuses on the superlative degree. Its aim is to let students learn the rules and structure of superlative degree and how to use superlative degree to describe things and people to make comparisons. The third unit introduces comparative degree, so if students master the comparative degree well, it will be easy for students to learn the superlative degree. This unit also presents words and expressions which are related to real life, so students will be interested in learning. Listening and reading activities are abundant and diverse which can improve students’ listening and reading ability. The exercises in the books can help students master important points firmly and consolidate what they can learn in this unit.
