教材内容分析 This unit is the second unit in the first volume of the new compulsory English teaching material for senior high school students published by PEP English. Compared with the previous edition, this book has made some changes. The content is much closer to students’ daily life. It can arouse their senses of participation, their interest in learning, and cultivate their comprehensive ability. Student can benefit a lot from it. This unit mainly talks about “travel”. To be specific, it talks about the preparation of travel, the relative knowledge of Peru, and how to introduce a scenic spot. Except for the usages of some new words and phrases, this unit also introduces a new grammar to students. According to the arrangements of this unit, the new grammar appears in the grammar, the reading and listening parts. It makes students have deep impressions on the new grammar, and helps them study this new grammar better. The listening and speaking parts are mainly about the preparation of travel. The reading part is about some relative knowledge of Peru, and some scenic spots in Peru. The writing part is about a student’s sharing his/her travel plans with his/her best friends by letters. So in this part, students know the structure of a letter. This enables students to reproduce the information in the text through their compositions.
