教材内容分析 This unit is the fifth unit in the new standard textbook Module1. There are six periods in this unit. The subject is the relationship between humans and animals. This unit is begins with an expository text, which introduce the migration of monarch butterfly based on the observation and research of scientists. The pre-reading activity listed some migrated animals, help students to get familiar with the topic of this passage and pave the way for text learning. The while-reading activities examine the students’ understanding of the text. Post-reading activity is through the main idea, source of the passage and other questions inspire students to think deeply and explore the meaning of the topic. Materials from real life can help students understand the characteristics of animal habits and other relevant knowledge. The listening and speaking part is the debate concerning “whether should we keep animals in the zoo”. Guide students to think deeply about the relationship between people and animals, and ultimately form a correct concept of caring for animals. The vocabulary and grammar part explains the key words, phrases and grammar-relative adverbs in this unit. The writing part is write repot about animals.
