教材内容分析 This unit is the fifth unit of Grade 9 in the junior high school English series published by People's Education Press. The topic of this unit is "product manufacturing". "What are the shirts made of? " As the main line, a series of tasks are carried out around the language functions of teaching materials, such as where something is made and what the production materials are. After learning this unit, students can learn some new words, expressions and the basic grammar knowledge. Students can develop their learning skills and improve their cooperation awareness. And they can understand the production materials of some daily things and increase common sense of life. There are six periods in this unit. The first is Preliminary knowledge and introduction of this unit. Its study objective is to let students understand the phrases "be made of." And there are some listening exercises which mean to improve students' listening skill and listen for some details. The second unit is about reading a passage which mean to improve students' reading ability and learn some new expressions. The third period is grammar lesson. Its study objective is to let students learn the basic knowledge about passive voice and how to use it. The fourth period is listening lesson which can let students improve listening ability. They will find many details in the materials. The fifth period is a more complete passage with some questions. This lesson can make students foster their comprehension of complete sentences and passage. The sixth period is writing lesson which can let students enhance their writing ability. From the basic language knowledge to the application of comprehensive language knowledge, the teaching material is step-by-step and guides students to learn the language purposefully in the task with step-by-step learning programs.
