This unit is the fifth unit in the first volume of Senior 2. New Senior English For China Student’s Book 5 The textbook tends to help students to set up their responsibility and love for the society. Thus, this unit chooses the topic of “first aid”, to list the accident that would happen suddenly in daily life and its treatments. Then students can master the information of first aid. After learning this unit, students can use key words, phrases and sentences. In Reading, students are supposed to master the usage of “injury, variety, prevent…” from sentences in the passage. This part also lists some accident in daily life, so students can understand the concepts easily. Also, ellipsis is an important grammar in high school. Students should divide how and when could use it. In Listening and speaking, students should practice their ability of taking notes and catching details while listening. There are 5 class hours in this unit.
