摘要:外语教学研究涉及的学科和领域很广,尤其是多媒体计算机辅助外语教学(CALL)。但是与可视化设计相结合的外语教学研究并不多见,特别是语言性要素的可视化设计几乎无人问津。可视化包括数据可视化、信息可视化和知识可视化,本文探讨的主要是知识可视化并结合文献研究法、案例分析法等方法,系统地搜集研究对象的相关材料,综合运用历史法、观察法进行分析、综合、比较、归纳,从而提供规律性的认识。研究中发现,知识可视化对学生不同方面的认知技能均产生正面影响。然而知识可视化学习能否取代语言学习本身还有待进一步探讨。本文通过借鉴语言知识的可视化设计理论方法与技术和认知解读机制的系统研究,探讨外语教学中语言信息和非语言信息的可视化设计,试图搞清楚知识可视化从教师的设计、演示到学生的理解、应用,经历了一个怎样的过程,教师教学设计和演示过程考虑了哪些影响因素以确保其教学效果,进而明确知识可视化设计是怎样应用于外语教学的课堂演示的,遵循的原则及其理论依据,从而为多媒体外语教学、多模态外语学习提供理论指导和实践性操作依据。
