Abstract:  This paper aims to study the narrative techniques employed in the novel of My Name Is Red. The paper first introduces the novel My Name Is Red and its author Orhan Pamuk and then discusses the narrative techniques employed in the novel respectively, which includes the narrative technique of the first person narration and the multi-perspective narration. The author of this paper also analyzes the symbolic significance according to the context of the novel to help readers get a better understanding of the novel.
