摘要：英语教学中的语法教学是语言学习的一个关键方面，是培养具有英语专业知识和综合能力的新社会人才的基础。然而当前我国初中英语语法教学的现状并不容乐观，很多学校过分重视学生对英语词汇的掌握程度和对应试教育的分数要求，不少教师又由于教学观念和思想认识的不足忽略了语法教学，致使很多学生在陈旧和枯燥的教学方式下对英语语法学习逐渐失去兴趣。为了帮助教师提高英语课堂中语法教学的效率，培养学生英语综合素养和实际运用能力，本文通过大量的文献研究，首先阐述了语法教学在初中英语教学中的重要性，并结合当前初中英语教学中存在的实际问题及其产生的原因进行了深入的分析，最后对如何提高初中英语语法教学的质量提出了一些行之有效的策略建议。
