Abstract:Listening strategy is an important technique for the primary student to study, and listening ability is the necessary requirement for the study and language application, it ranks on the top among four fundamental techniques, listening, speaking, reading and writing. During teaching activity, it is a crucial work for the entire teacher to cultivate primary students’ listening strategy and listening ability. In this paper, it introduces the background about the study on the listening ability, analyzes different reflections for primary students’ listening barriers, what’s more, according to the problems the students face, it also proposes some suitable strategies for the primary students and teachers, so as to improve primary students’ listening level and study subjective initiative.
