摘要:《诗经》 作为中国文学史上第一部诗歌总集,可谓我国诗歌长河中最璀璨耀眼的明珠,它不仅为后人呈现了从我国古代西周初期至东周春秋中叶这段悠久历史的文化魅力,更从诗学艺术的角度塑造了大量或真实或想象的人文形象,使读者不仅能够一睹中国传统文化的精髓,更能够想象和领略诗中所塑造的人物形象。《诗经》英译的重要性同样不可忽略,对《诗经》的翻译一方面是为了传播中国优秀的文学作品,另一方面也是为了向世界呈现中国传统文化,让世人更加了解中国。建国初期, 西方列强为丑化中国人物形象不择手段,本文以译介学为理论基础,以建国初期为研究背景,选取《诗经》中人物形象以及英文版《中国文学》选译的《诗经》文本进行分析,旨在分析《诗经》对于真实的中国传统人物形象树立的作用,同时将其背后折射的文化思想内涵呈现给读者。
