Abstract
The age of the Internet and social network today completely revolutionized the life style of people. Transformation of the way of thinking is inevitably complying with the trend. The age needs students with comprehensive capacity, but with distinctive capacity, which cannot be easily replaced by the internet and even Robert, is more important. In order to cultivate students this capacity, there is a need of shifting of the teaching material and methods. Poetry, as a role almost fading in the English teaching, may play a new significant role in English teaching during the shifting because of its unique beauty and irreplaceable status in literature . This essay attempts to teach Robert Frost in College Integrated Courses as an example in using poetry in the Integrated English teaching.
