Abstract
The thesis is based on the theories of psychological development of children and Education Science, studying the effect of preschool English development on the primary English. Because preschool English is prevailing in China, it has caused boom. At present, lacking the right theories in the course of preschool English, the development of that has lost balance so that it is rather hard to connect preschool English with primary English, and the quality of primary English declines. With influence of the new views of primary English, it is time that we updated methods to closely link preschool English education with primary English education. In the thesis, problems and the negative effects of the preschool English teaching have been analyzed and seven strategies to enhance its positive effects on the primary English teaching have been put forward, such as improving the quality of English teacher in preschool, strengthening the coordination of parents, training the motivation and interests of preschoolers, linking the first language with English, adopting appropriate teaching materials, applying various teaching methods and maintaining new concepts of education.
