This unit is the fourth module in the first volume of Grade 6. The main contact of this module is about American festivals and Chinese traditional festivals.“ Unit1 Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.” is about American festivals .Students are interested in American festivals.They will know more about American festivals by learning this unit. “Unit2 Our favourite festival is the Spring Festival .” is about Chinese traditional festivals.This unit is based on daily life.Students are familiar with this topic ,so they can actively express their ideas and jion the activities. Students can talk their favourite festivals with others and write down their favourite festivals in the words and sentences what they learn in this module. There are three periods in this module.
