Abstract: According to definition of the situational method, teachers can create authentic situations to help students better train their ability of listening and speaking so that their comprehensive English learning ability should be cultivated at last. Then the students can conduct meaningful communication flexibly in the situations. To lead the students to practice what they’ve learned in the class in situations set by teachers is one of the goals of English teaching. The students can communicate information in English and exchange their ideas so flexibly in these situations.
