摘要：侦探小说是通俗文学中非常受欢迎的一种体裁。其开山鼻祖为埃德加·爱伦·坡，而使其发扬光大的则是英国侦探小说家柯南·道尔。爱伦·坡凭借寥寥几本推理小说就奠定了推理小说的模式,对后世影响深远。本文以埃德加·爱伦·坡和柯南·道尔的推理小说为基础，从写作风格、人物塑造、叙述角度、时代背景及作者生平和经历等不同角度分析柯南·道尔侦探小说中对爱伦·坡模式的继承与创新。
