摘要:听力教学作为语言教学的重要环节,却一直得不到足够的重视。伴随着课程改革的推进,提高英语专业学生自主学习能力的需求日益迫切。与此同时,在大学英语四六级考试和英语专四专八考试改革逐步推行的趋势下,听力部分试题的难度也逐渐加大,加强听力教学的重要性日益凸显。高校传统的以教师为中心的课堂听力教学模式已经不可避免的出现了很多的弊端,制约着学生学习的积极性和主动性。如今日益丰富的网络资源无疑为传统听力教学注入了新鲜活力,TED演讲视频以其短小精悍、言简意赅的篇幅,兼具趣味性、时代性和多元化的主题引起了英语学习者和教育者的广泛关注,并且时而被运用到英语课堂和英语能力考试中,对促进英语专业学生独立思考、批判性思维能力、创新意识和听说技能等的全面发展成效显著。纵观国内已有研究成果,对基于TED资源的英语专业听力翻转课堂学习模式的实证研究较少,具体来说英语专业听力课堂不应仅仅局限于听,而是听说读写译等模块相结合的综合型学习,这将突出TED资源对听力翻转课堂学习模式的作用和必要性。本论文将以此作为突破口,针对山东青年政治学院外国语学院英语专业听力课堂中TED资源的应用进行实证研究,探究TED资源与听力翻转课堂结合的可行性,以及对英语专业学生听说水平、独立思考、批判性思维能力和创新意识提升的有效性程度,希望为英语专业听力教学改革不断推进及优化学生学习思维,提升语言综合素养等方面提供有益的参考。
