摘要:近些年来,随着各行各业的全球化进程不断加快,对外文化交流的频率大大增加。在这个过程中,翻译活动的地位越来越重要,国与国之间的政治交流,贸易往来、文化宣传等都需要翻译的帮助。在这样的背景下,翻译从一项专业技能逐渐发展为一个新的产业形态。翻译行业对人才需求量的激增,这不仅为中国的翻译服务市场带来机会,同时也是个挑战。并且随着社会的发展,中国的翻译市场正面对着急剧蓬勃发展的趋势,将逐步成为我国国民经济的一个新的增长点。随着化妆品市场的兴起,化妆品行业的翻译人才要求越来越高,然而,传统高校翻译教学存在一定的问题,这些问题制约着化妆品行业的发展。本文以化妆品行业为案例,分析市场对英语专业学生商务翻译能力的需求,从而促进高校英语翻译教学的进一步发展。
