中文摘要:英语作为全球使用最广泛的语言之一,已经成为国际交往和科技、文化交流的重要工具。因此学好英语是十分有必要的。然而由于种种原因,我国的初中英语学困生不断增加。为了深入了解学困生的成因以及探索学困生的转化策略,本文采取个案研究法,对杭州市十三中学八年级(1)班的一位英语学困生进行了十一周的动态研究。研究发现学困生的成因可概括为较弱的学习动机、薄弱的学习意志、消极的学业情绪和不当的学习方法。通过三轮转化,研究对象对英语的态度已经发生了积极的转变。教师可通过激发学习动机、锻炼学习意志、调动积极学业情绪和培养良好学习习惯四个方面对英语学困生进行转化。学困生的转化过程不是一蹴而就的,教师需要长期倾注自己的精力来帮助学困生克服困难。
