The teaching material is from Junior Middle School English Book for Grade Eight, This unit is the eighth unit in Grade 8.This unit mainly focuses on the topic of "food making ". The unit mainly deals with verbs and phrases about food making. This unit can be divided into listening ,reading and writing lessons. In listening lesson, students can learn the imperative sentence of food making order and use it flexibly How many…/How much….; In reading lessons, with the the activities, students can learn about the turkey making of western Thanksgiving meal. In writing lesson, it leads students to associate Chinese festivals with snacks in their hometown, arouse students' love for their hometown, and experience the differences between Chinese and western food cultures.After learning this Unit, students will master the theme words, phrases and target language to talk about how to make foods.
