This unit is the second unit in the first volume of Grade 7. This unit mainly focuses on the topic of “different daily life”, and takes the“Sam’s daily life” as an example to further learn the usage of the frequency adverbs in the present tense to describe daily life. This module contains five period. In Reading, students can learn about how to describe daily life by learning Sam’s daily life, and also master the sentence patterns. In listening and speaking, learning the narration of daily life at weekends, students can improve listening skills like how to get the key words during listening to the materials and grasp the method of take notes. In Grammar, students can learn about the present sentence and the frequency adverbs and phrases which can be used to describe their daily life, and in the group works, students can learn about others’ life style. In phonetics, students can master some similar pronunciation. They can identify the differences among them, for example Besides, students can ask for others to learn about their daily life through making an interview. In writing, students can consolidate what they have learned this unit through making up a composition. And they can use the frequency and phrases fluently in their daily life.
