教材内容分析 The teaching material, Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater? is from Junior High School English book for grade eight. This unit talks about how to describe and compare public places and people around students’ town using superlative adjectives. Two sections are arranged in this unit in which section A is about choosing a movie theater and section B is about talent shows. Simultaneously, students can share their favorite movie theater, stars, and talent shows with partners as well. As this topic is closely related to students’ personal life, students are supposed to be more familiar with this teaching content and would be more interested in the lesson. These factors would be conducive to a lively class in which students provide timely and effective responses. After learning this unit, students will master the new words, phrases and be able to compare similar things in their town with what they learn in class.

Students are able to apply reading strategies like skimming and scanning surveying to reading the text to get the general and specific information of it and find answers to the questions relevantly. 2. Students are able to improve their writing techniques on how to use superlative adjectives to describe a person or a place in English. 3. Students are able get the detailed information in their listening process when listening. Emotion objectives: 1. Students are able to strengthen their willingness of cooperation. 2.
