教材内容分析

This unit is the fourth unit in the first volume of Grade 7 Go for it. This unit mainly focuses on the topic “things around the house”, "where things are?" They're on/in/under... "Yes/No" questions, further understanding and learning to use "Where question, Yes/No question; Learn to use the preposition "on/in/under" to indicate the position of objects. The students are supposed to learn how to ask where someone or something is in real life, and how to respond. In Section A, students will learn some vocabulary about furniture through special questions in the simple present tense guided by "where", as well as the use of singular and plural nouns and personal pronouns they. In Section B the readings in this unit present a passage that tells students what kind of room is clean and what kind of room is untidy. Through the study of the above aspects, students will learn to use the learning strategies of listening for key words, guessing the meaning of words, skimming and scanning, identifying the position of different objects and the effective methods of preliminary understanding of reading materials. From this, students can understand his household environment and classroom environment, love his home and class, and prompt themselves to design his ideal room and have a new understanding of good living habit through imagination again, so as to develop the good habit of putting things in tidy, neat, and reasonable way. In line with the new curriculum standards training concept, this unit is also closely connected with unit 5 on the basis of unit 3:

From Unit 3 "Is/Are..." and Unit 4 "Where question" to unit 5 "Do..." The study of general questions ultimately promotes the improvement of students' comprehensive language ability and facilitates their ability to learn in practice, thus laying a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
