教材内容分析

This unit belongs to Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard textbook. It is the first volume for Grade Seven students. “Unit 3 Is this your pencil?” focuses on identifying the ownership of an item and aims to teach students the basic sentence pattern of asking the owner of an item. In this unit, students will learn some words about school things , some possessive pronouns and learn to use “Is this your/his/her…?” to ask the owner of the item, and then master the characteristics of general questions and the rules of change. Through the study of this unit, students learn to identify the owner of items. Students will learn to seek help when they lose items to enhance the friendship between students, and they will use simple English to help find the owners when they found something lost by others.
