Abstract: With the constant awakening of the black women, the group of black female writers is growing and developing into an independent and strong power. Morrison belongs to this group, whose maiden work The Bluest Eye has ever been focused by critics in and abroad. Morrison describes their different fates and insulting life as well as those of the people who live in the hopeless class through which people can feel a pain to the bone and see a vague misty survival path filled with hardships. From the inner world of these several female characters(Pecola, Pauline and so on) in this novel, this topic points out the constant struggles of the black women’s images against the fate under the multiple oppression of class, gender and race in the 20th century. The article discusses the awakening female consciousness, appealing to the vast females to struggle against the forces of darkness for their self-survival. Besides, the article aims to arouse the readers to contemplate the past, the worrying situation and an uncertain future of Africa Americans, meanwhile helping readers know more about the life and culture of the black. Key words: black women; awakening; struggling
