Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implication of conceptual metaphor in integrated English vocabulary. In terms of ontological metaphor, orientational metaphor and structural metaphor, explanation and analyses are made. Through three angles of conceptual metaphor and polysemy make clear the integrated English vocabulary. The study shows that conceptual metaphor has a great impact on integrated English vocabulary by understanding the basic meaning and the extensional meaning and may clarify the words meaning in line with its different dimensions. The paper concludes that conceptual metaphor will help learners master the deep meaning of vocabulary, understand the abstract concept, and adapt to the social trend that new words keep generating.
